Europe — Our First Journey as a Married Couple

The journey

Our honeymoon in Europe was the perfect beginning to our life together. With a journey planned across France, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece, we experienced a beautiful mix of romantic cities, peaceful mountains, historic streets, and unforgettable sunsets.

We began our journey in Paris, where we spent our days exploring charming streets, visiting famous landmarks, and enjoying quiet moments at cosy cafés. Seeing the Eiffel Tower light up in the evening was one of the first memories we created as a married couple, and it made the beginning of our honeymoon feel truly special.

From Paris, we travelled to Switzerland, where the scenery felt completely different. The snow-covered mountains, clear lakes, scenic train journeys, and peaceful towns made every moment feel magical. We explored Lucerne and Interlaken, enjoyed breathtaking views, and spent time simply admiring the beauty around us. Switzerland gave us some of the calmest and most beautiful moments of our journey.

Our next destination was Italy. In Venice, we wandered through narrow streets, crossed charming bridges, and enjoyed the unique beauty of the canals. We then explored Rome, where historic landmarks, beautiful architecture, and delicious Italian food made every day exciting. Italy felt full of life, history, and unforgettable experiences.

We ended our honeymoon in Santorini, Greece. The white buildings, blue-domed churches, peaceful views, and beautiful sunsets created the perfect ending to our journey. Sitting together and watching the sun disappear over the Aegean Sea was one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip.

This honeymoon was not about rushing from one place to another. It was about experiencing new cultures, sharing beautiful moments, and enjoying the beginning of our married life together. From the lights of Paris to the mountains of Switzerland, the canals of Venice, and the sunsets of Santorini, every destination became a special part of our story.

We returned home with beautiful photographs, unforgettable experiences, and memories that will always remind us of the first adventure we shared as a married couple.
