How Jyurnels work
Last updated 3 September 2026
The short version
A Jyurnel is a golden credit on Jyurniq. One Jyurnel is always one rupee. You can earn them by publishing real travel, buy a pack, or skip the counting and take Pro monthly or yearly.
How to earn
Write like a traveller, not like a brochure farm. Rewards land when the work is on the site: blogs wait for approval, journeys credit when you publish the log or post.
- Your first approved blog is worth 100 Jyurnels. Each one after that is 50.
- Your first journey posted to Discover is 50 Jyurnels, then 20 for each later post.
- Your first private-style journey log is 20 Jyurnels, then 5 each.
Fresh earnings cannot be spent for 24 hours. That pause is on purpose: it keeps a burst of empty posts from turning into shopping money the same afternoon. Jyurnels you buy with rupees skip the wait.
How to spend
Open Shop to buy one layout or widget with Jyurnels or rupees. Or open Pricing for Pro monthly and yearly.
- Pro unlocks every premium layout, widget, and Beautify design we mark as included, usually for a month or a year.
- Stay on Free and buy layouts such as Atlas, Journal, and Film and selected widgets if that is all you want.
- Timeline, Ribbon, and Places layouts stay free. so do the simple widgets.
Short on Jyurnels? Buy a pack. They are ready to spend as soon as payment lands.
When we take Jyurnels back
Jyurniq is a travel log, not a dumping ground. If staff find a journey irrelevant (copied filler, spam, or nothing to do with a trip), they can unlist it. The post leaves Discover, and the Jyurnels you earned for that journey come off your balance.
Keep the logs you would actually send a friend. That is the whole game.
Blogs need a human yes
Submitting a story does not credit Jyurnels. Approval does. If a piece is declined, you can revise it; nothing is paid out until it is live.
Questions we hear a lot
What is a Jyurnel?
A golden credit on Jyurniq. One Jyurnel is always ₹1. Earn them, buy a pack, or spend them on Pro and unlocks.
When can I spend Jyurnels I earned?
After 24 hours. Bought packs are ready immediately. The wait keeps a burst of empty posts from turning into shopping money the same day.
Do blogs pay out when I hit submit?
No. Jyurnels land only after a moderator approves the story. Declined pieces credit nothing.
What if a journey is unlisted?
If staff find it irrelevant, it leaves Discover and the Jyurnels earned for that journey come off your balance.
Do I need Pro for every layout?
No. Timeline, Ribbon, and Places stay free. Atlas, Journal, Film, and Split, some widgets, and a few Beautify options can be bought one by one in the Shop, or bundled in Pro.
