The journey
Shimla was supposed to be this very aesthetic winter trip where we’d wear cute coats, drink hot chocolate, click Pinterest-type pictures and behave like sophisticated people.
Obviously, none of that happened. 😭
I went with Aanya, Meher, Kabir and Yash, and from the moment we reached, everyone collectively lost the ability to behave normally.
The first evening was actually very cute — Mall Road, Christ Church, momos, coffee, random shopping and all of us pretending the cold was “so nice” while secretly losing sensation in our fingers. 💀
Then Kufri happened.
I genuinely don’t know who threw the first snowball, but within five minutes it became a full revenge situation. Kabir got snow inside his jacket, Meher almost slipped while trying to run, Yash kept targeting literally everyone and Aanya was more concerned about getting a good picture than surviving. 😭
We also did those random roadside chai stops where somehow one cup turns into forty minutes of gossip.
Honestly, Shimla itself was beautiful, but the best part was just us being completely stupid together in the cold.
Would I go again?
100%.
Would I trust these people near snow again?
Absolutely not. 😂❄️
Favourite Memory: The Kufri snow fight that started as “just throw one snowball” and ended with everyone plotting revenge like it was a personal issue. 😂
My final verdict: Shimla is very pretty, but apparently putting five friends in snow immediately removes all maturity. ❄️🤍
