Kerala Was Basically Our Family Trying to Relax… Very Aggressively 🌴😭

The journey

Kerala with family was honestly such a funny mix of “let’s keep this trip peaceful” and us somehow turning every single day into a full event. 😭

I went with Mumma, Papa and Aarav, and we started from Kochi before heading towards Munnar. The drive itself was sooo pretty — waterfalls, greenery, tea gardens and Papa stopping at random viewpoints because apparently every hill deserved a family picture.

Munnar was giving full soft-life energy until Aarav and I started irritating each other in the middle of a tea estate like we weren’t surrounded by the prettiest scenery ever. 😂

Then Alleppey was completely different. We stayed on a houseboat, ate way too much food, sat outside watching the backwaters and for once… everyone was actually quiet.

Very suspicious behaviour from my family. 😭

Varkala was my favourite though. Sunset by the cliff, cafés, beach scenes and Mumma repeatedly saying we should come back for a longer trip next time.

Basically Kerala gave us mountains, backwaters, beaches, food and enough family photos to survive the next three years.

Not complaining. 🌴🤍

Favourite Memory: Sitting outside the houseboat in Alleppey with chai while everyone was weirdly quiet and just watching the backwaters go by.

My final verdict: Kerala is what happens when one trip refuses to pick a personality — mountains, beaches, backwaters, cafés… babe, leave something for the other states. 😭🌴
