This one started with a late bus and ended with a quiet sunrise over Chandratal.
Kaza was base camp for Key Monastery and long stretches of road that made conversation optional. The best stop was not on the itinerary: a tea stall where a truck driver redraw the route for us with a stick in the dust.
Altitude humbles you. So does the bill for bottled water.
Not every trip needs a climax. This one just needed to happen.
