Taj Mahal Trip with My Crazy Friends

The journey

Our Agra trip was one of the best and funny trip with my friends Pragya, Pawni and Anshuli. We planned this trip suddenly because everyone was free for weekend, so we decided to go Agra for 2 days and 1 night. We all was very excited because for some of us it was first time seeing Taj Mahal in real.

We started our journey early morning and after reaching Agra, first we checked into hotel and then directly went to see Taj Mahal. Honestly, photos on internet is good, but seeing it with our own eyes was totally different feeling. We clicked so many photos that our phone storage almost become full. Every few minutes someone was saying, "One more photo... this angle is better."

Pragya was trying to make everyone pose properly, Pawni was busy finding perfect Instagram spots, and Anshuli was laughing on every random thing. Because of that, most of our group photos were not serious at all. Somebody was blinking, somebody was laughing, and somebody was looking somewhere else. Finally we accepted that funny photos are better than perfect photos.

After Taj Mahal, we explored local market and tried famous Agra Petha. We also had some delicious street food and spent evening walking around the city. At night in hotel, nobody wanted to sleep. We started talking about old memories, played games, watched random reels together, and laughed till almost midnight.

Next morning we visited Agra Fort. The huge walls and beautiful architecture was really amazing. Standing there and looking towards Taj Mahal from the fort made the place feel even more special. Before leaving Agra, we did some shopping for souvenirs and of course bought extra petha to take home.

The trip was only for two days, but it gave us lots of memories. We laughed, travelled, clicked hundreds of photos, ate too much food, and enjoyed every moment together. Sometimes short trips become the best trips, and this Agra journey with Pragya, Pawni and Anshuli will always make us smile whenever we look at the photos.
