Discover Ladakh on a carefully paced seven-day journey through Leh, Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. Explore ancient monasteries, drive across spectacular mountain passes, visit Hunder’s cold-desert dunes and spend a night beside Pangong’s changing blue waters. Day 1 – Arrival in Leh: Meet your driver at Leh Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest completely and allow your body to adjust to the altitude.

Day 2 – Acclimatisation in Leh: Continue acclimatising with gentle exploration around Leh Market and nearby locations. Avoid strenuous sightseeing.

Day 3 – Leh sightseeing: Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.

Day 4 – Leh to Nubra Valley: Travel towards Nubra Valley after completing the acclimatisation period. Cross Khardung La, visit Diskit Monastery and explore the Hunder sand dunes.

Day 5 – Nubra to Pangong Lake: Follow the scenic Shyok route towards Pangong Lake, subject to road and weather conditions. Check in near the lake and enjoy the peaceful evening views.

Day 6 – Pangong to Leh: Watch the morning light over Pangong before returning to Leh through Chang La. Spend the evening resting or shopping in Leh Market.

Day 7 – Departure: Check out after breakfast and transfer to Leh Airport.

The Leh district administration requires tourists arriving in Leh to complete at least 48 hours of acclimatisation before travelling to higher-altitude areas such as Khardung La and Pangong Lake. Official advisory
