Discover Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan. Stand atop Mehrangarh Fort for sweeping views over indigo houses, visit the marble memorial of Jaswant Thada, wander the old city’s bazaars and taste Marwari flavours — with an optional desert-edge evening at Osian or a local cultural venue.
Travel plan:
Day 1 – Arrival and clock tower market
Arrive at Jodhpur Airport or railway station, check in and explore the Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) market and Sardar Market lanes for spices, textiles and sweets.
Day 2 – Mehrangarh and Blue City
Morning visit to Mehrangarh Fort and its museums. Continue to Jaswant Thada, then walk selected blue lanes of the old city with a local guide. Evening optional folk performance or rooftop fort views.
Day 3 – Umaid Bhawan or Osian and departure
Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum (exterior/museum as tickets allow) or a short excursion toward Osian’s desert dunes, then transfer for departure.
